Caitlin Blackwood (talaffuzi: Keytlin Blekvud; 23-iyun, 2000-yil, Shimoliy Irlandiyada tugʻilgan)[1] — shimoliy irlandiyalik aktrisa. BBC One televideniyesida efir yuzini koʻrgan Doctor Who teleserialida oʻsmir Amy Pond rolini oʻynagan[2].

Hayoti

Blackwood 2000-yilda Shimoliy Irlandiyaning Antrim shahrida tugʻilgan[3]. U olti yoshida oilasi bilan Shotlandiyaning Inverness shahriga koʻchib oʻtgan va oʻshandan beri u yerda yashaydi[3]. Blackwood 2015-yilda olomon tomonidan moliyalashtirilgan[4] Cops and Monsters teleserialining „Preparing the Weapon“ epizodida Alexis rolini oʻynadi[5]. 2018-yilda u rejissyor Ryan Hendrick tomonidan suratga olingan Sundown nomli qisqa metrajli filmda suratga tushdi[6].

U bir nechta Doctor Who serialidagi epizodlarda yosh Amelia Pond rolini oʻynaydi; The Eleventh Hour, The Big Bang, Letʼs Kill Hitler, The God Complex, The Angels Take Manhattan kabi epizodlar shular jumlasidandir. Uning filmdagi eng soʻnggi koʻrinishi „The Time Doctor“da boʻlgan. U oʻsmir Karen Gillanning amakivachchasi, Amy Pond rolini tasvirlagan, garchi ular Blackwood kastingidan oldin hech qachon uchrashmagan boʻlsalar ham[7]. Uning bu rolga ega boʻlishining sababi uning yoshi katta qarindoshi bilan jismoniy oʻxshashligi edi[8][9].

2018-yilda u shotlandiyalik yozuvchi va rejissyor Ryan Hendrickning mukofotga sazovor boʻlgan qisqa metrajli Sundown, filmida rol oʻynaydi. 2020-yilda u Doctor Who qisqa metrajli filmida Amy Pond rolini „The Raggedy Doctor by Amelia Pond“ epizodida ijro etadi[10]. 2020-yilda u Lost At Christmas, romantik komediya filmida paydo boʻldi[11][12]. Bu filmda Doctor Who filmi aktyorlari Sylvester McCoy hamda Frazer Hines ham ishtirok etgan.
