Zygopini — qoʻngʻizlarning Curculionidae oilasiga mansub novda va poya uzunburun qoʻngʻizlari qabilasi[1]. Zygopini tarkibida 20 dan ortiq turkum va kamida 250 ta tavsiflangan tur mavjud. Hozirda Janubiy Amerikaning shimolida uchraydigan 11 turkumdan 83 ta tur maʼlum, 8 ta turkum faqat Janubiy Amerikada uchraydi, 2 tasi esa Afrikada qayd etilgan[2][3].
