Acalles — Curculionidae oilasiga mansub qo‘ng‘izlar turkumi[1][2]. Ushbu turkum qo‘ng‘izlari G‘arbiy Palaearcticda (Yevropa va Shimoli-g‘arbiy Afrikada)[2][3] hamda Shimoliy Amerikaning janubi-sharqida uchraydi. Ular leaf litter yoki qurigan shoxlar va toklar orasida yashaydi[4]. Acalles turkumida taxminan 570 ta tur mavjud[1][5].
