More importantly however, the map is inaccurate because the province of Panjshir did not exist as of 2004, but was part of Parwan Province, which also included the district of "Hisa-I-Awal Panjsher" in January 2004, shown here incorrectly as a separate province. If the goal was to reflect the borders of the newly created Panjshir Province, it firstly missed to include the other districts that later became part of Panjshir (Hisa-I-Duwum Panjsher, Panjsher, and parts (and later all) of Salang), and secondly used old borders and names for the new districts and province borders, making it useless. This should be reverted and the missing "Hisa-I-Awal Panjsher" should be included here after the file is renamed to "Districts of Parwan as of January 2004.png".}} ~~~~
