Reason for the nomination:
The map, dated January 2004, was drawn using the 32-province, 329-district boundary model [1], right around the time of the signing of the 2004 Constitution of Afghanistan on January 26, 2004, and was already outdated following the subsequent redrawing of provincial and district borders shown in the official "Afghanistan Statistical Yearbook 2005" [2]. More importantly however, the map is inaccurate because the province of Daykundi did not exist as of 2004, but the districts shown in this map where part of Uruzgan Province and are shown here incorrectly as a separate province. If the goal was to reflect the borders of the newly created Daykundi Province, it firstly missed to include the other districts that later became part of Daykundi (parts (and later all) of Gizab), and secondly used old borders and names for the new districts and province borders, making it useless. This should be reverted and the missing districts here should be included after the file is renamed to "Districts of Uruzgan as of January 2004.png".
