English: The arms are last granted on October 31, 1975 (first on October 31, 1963 for the former Arnsberg district). They show the eagle of the counts of Arnsberg, with an escutcheon with the arms of the Electorate of Cologne, which remembers on the former ruler, the Duchy of Westphalia. |
