Taʼrif
English: The coat of arms of Ivád
Magyar: Ivád címere
Ivád címer leírása II. Ferdinánd adománylevelének szövege alapján készült. "Kék színű katonai, álló pajzs alját zöld domb foglalja el, melyen repülésre készülő galamb kiterjesztett szárnyakkal, mindkét lábán áll, s a pajzs jobb oldala felé fordulva látszik.
A pajzson lévő rostélyos, vagyis nyitott katonai sisak királyi koronával, s ezen egy másik, az alsóhoz mindenben hasonló galamb van ékesítve. A sisak tetejét pedig foszlányok díszítik, melyek innen (bal oldalról) sárga és kék, onnan (jobb oldalról) fehér és veres színűek, s a pajzs külsejét szépen eltakarják.”
